A movable wall is a partition made up of independent panels suspended from a ceiling track. The panels are moved by hand or by motor and stack away in a storage pocket: one large room becomes several rooms without any building work.
CBI installs several movable wall systems (solid and glazed panels, integrated doors, semi-automatic) and takes care of the track design, ceiling reinforcement, installation and adjustment of the telescopic seals.
A solution favoured by hotels, conference centres, schools and restaurants that need to adjust their capacity throughout the day.
Acoustics
Depending on the system, a sound reduction index of around 40 to 55 dB (Rw) when closed, thanks to the top and bottom telescopic seals.
Operation
Easy manual operation or semi-automatic motorisation; panels stack away in a storage pocket or along a wall.
Finishes
Melamine, laminate, wood veneer, lacquer, stretched fabric, writable surfaces or glazing: the movable wall blends into your interior.
Integrated doors
Single or double pass door panel to move through without opening the wall, and to comply with escape routes.
